98" (1607cc) 3-5/8" big bore cylinder & piston kit

Fits all 66-84 Shovelhead models with 4-3/4" stroker flywheels. Comes complete with +.200" (5.530") 3-5/8" big bore gloss black cylinders, forged pistons, rings, wrist pins, head/base gaskets and cylinder head bolts and cylinder base nuts. This large capacity engine will give serious increase in power and torque. Compression ratio 8-1/4:1. Engine life can be expected to be fair, strongly depending on riding habits. Note: Crankcase spigots must be bored for 3-5/8" cylinders. Note: 4-3/4" stroker flywheels in the 8-1/4" special small diameter version must be used (MCS 512370) in combination with a 82-up type crankpin and a S&S sprocket shaft.
