This is in contrast to many High kW starters, which will usually require a stronger battery to actually generate the power they are rated for. All Balls starters are manufactured in the USA and Canada. Note: Only this black 530610 starter motor is a bit longer than standard, therefore this starter motor will not fit Touring models. The 530612 chrome version, but also the 1.7Kw starters (530614/chrome and 530613/black) are shorter, like OEM starters, and will fit Tourings.
